“Worthwhile”
By Trevesa DaSilva-Ashman

A smile, a hug, an encouraging word is all someone may need

To hear that Jesus loves them and that He will never leave

Some are in hurtful situations, desperate to get out

While others need someone to look up to or someone to help them about

We give them a kind word, a loving action to make them feel worthwhile

Word Time, the Ministry, that’s always touching lives.

Children’s home, communities, hospital visits, we take for granted, sometimes

But they really need someone who cares to go that extra mile

To see us standing there beside them, encouraging them to succeed

Or praying that God will touch them so His healing power they’ll feel

Our kind words, our loving actions, make them feel worthwhile

Word Time, the Ministry, that’s always touching lives.

How many schools have ever read God’s word before their eyes?

Or heard His Rhema word declared, anointed and uncompromised?

Our presence at their devotions brings them empowerment and great cheer

Giving them copies of God’s Holy word shows just how much we care

Our blessed devotions, and Bibles presentations, make them feel worthwhile

Word Time, the Ministry, that’s always touching lives.

All the kind words we share, all the loving actions we display

They reach someone, somewhere in a very special way

For they’ll remember to strive for excellence with a purified heart

And to run the race by His Grace and from God’s word never depart

Magnifying God with all their talents, make them feel worthwhile

Word Time, the Ministry, that’s always touching lives.

So, as a Ministry we must never cease to do what we know that we do best

Loving, caring, empowering, uplifting and sharing with others, nothing less

Though at times we feel we can’t go on, and we may want to give up

We will never quit, never retreat, but persevere and never stop

The kinds words, the loving actions, they all will be worth the while

Word Time, the Ministry, that’s always touching lives.
