The Word Time Ministries of Jamaica family is deeply saddened about the passing of Selburn "Carl" Ashman.

Chairman of the Ministry R. Michael Schurton J.P. said that he was deeply saddened in the news of the passing of the brother of Trevesa DaSilva-Ashman’s husband.

“We face an hour of great loss and sadness in the passing of two close friends of the Ministry. Even while we started to morn the loss of Sister Zipporah Burnett we also are now morning the loss of Selburn "Carl" Ashman. This is a double loss for the Ministry, but God is still in control and we are resting on His everlasting arms for comfort.” Chairman Schurton said.

Trevesa’s husband also lost his brother over the weekend. He had epilepsy and hadn't been able to function by himself but it seems he developed a complication on Saturday and passed away.

Chairman Schurton in expressing his sympathies for the brother of Trevesa’s husband shared “we hope that your wonderful memories of him will bring you comfort and peace at this difficult time.”

The Word Time family is being asked to remember Trevesa and her husband as well as the members of the Spanish Town Apostolic Faith Church family in your prayers during this hour of need.

Chairman Schurton also stated that both these families need our support at this time. “While we remain saddened in hearing this news we must bring comfort to the families. Please lift up our brothers and sisters in your fervent prayers. I ask you. I entreat you. I urge you please continue to pray for one another.”
