Canadian Track and Field Championships - Action Packed
TORONTO, CANADA - In an action packed Day 2 athletes continued to make their marks at the 2010 Canadian Track & Field Championships. Recording her fifth career title, Jessica Zelinka of Calgary, AB was crowned champion in the heptathlon with 5998 points.
In the men’s decathlon, Jamie Adjetey-Nelson of Windsor, ON took his first ever Canadian Championship title in the decathlon with 7780 points. Both Zelinka and Adjetey-Nelson have made standard to compete at the 2010 Commonwealth Games team pending final team selection.
